Supplier Support & Enquiries

We understand that timely and accurate payments are crucial for every supplier. If you have a query regarding invoices, payments, or other commercial matters, we follow a clear process to ensure it is resolved promptly and efficiently.

  • Step 1: Your Day-to-Day Buying Contact
    Please contact your usual B&M Buying contact first, as they are best placed to resolve your query quickly.
  • Step 2: Escalate to the Senior Buyer
    If the matter cannot be resolved with your day-to-day Buying contact, please escalate the issue to the relevant Senior Buyer for that department.
  • Invoice & Payment Queries
    For specific payment or invoice-related queries that cannot be resolved through your Buying contact, please contact our Accounts Payable team.

Groceries Supply Code of Practice (the Code)

The Code

B&M is a designated retailer under the Code and is fully committed to upholding its principles in all our dealings with grocery suppliers. We seek to ensure that our team, particularly our buying team, is trained in the Code and always adheres to it, treating all our suppliers fairly and lawfully.

The Code is statutory and governs the relationship between the UK's largest grocery retailers and their suppliers. It was established to ensure that retailers treat their suppliers fairly. Code Compliance Officer

To ensure we meet our obligations, we have a dedicated Code Compliance Officer who is responsible for overseeing our compliance with the Code. The Code Compliance Officer acts as an independent point of contact for suppliers, providing guidance and investigating any concerns relating to the Code.

B&M’s Code Compliance Officer

Our Code Compliance Officer, Mike Schmidt, is available as an independent point of contact for all Suppliers who wish to raise a Code-related matter or query. Mike encourages open and honest feedback with respect to our performance under the Code.
